The 20th National Congress of the Party introduced a new discourse on the"Chinese path to modernization",serving as a profound and overarching theoretical framework to guide various sectors in summarizing their development principles,paths,experiences,achievements,and future directions.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,China's school P.E.has made great achievements.Its development is also a Chinese style modernization of school P.E.Its development path and methods must have the basic characteristics of the"Chinese path to modernization","Chinese education modernization"and"building China into a sporting nation".This paper discussed the modernization of school P.E.in the context of the"Chinese path to modernization",highlighting eight fundamental characteristics including CPC leadership,challenges,well-rounded education,holistic development,ethnic and cultural characteristics,reform and innovation,lifelong foundation,and competitive sports development.It also discussed in depth the national background,unique path,challenges,and future development of the Chinese modernization of school P.E.in order to enrich the connotation of the Chinese modernization of school P.E.and promote its further development.
