As a combination of artificial intelligence and sports referee,the Sports Intelligent Referee System has a great influence on sports autonomy so that its systematic evaluation is necessary.Through literature and normative analysis,this paper expatiates on the influences and improvement of sports intelligent referee system on competitive sports.Researches show that the sports intelligent refereeing system enhances the precision and fairness of the sports referees,improves the competitive level of competitors,and promotes the development of competitive sports by playing the auxiliary,alternative and learning functions.However,technical,value and legal risks of it bring challenges to competitive sports.In this regard,it is essential to understand the function positioning of sports intelligent referee system through the function theory,remedy and eliminate its dysfunction of sports autonomy with technical means and rule system so that the sports intelligent referee system can yield better play on the competitive sports.
