Construction and Empirical Research on Maturity Model of Sports Goods Manufacturing Industry Cluster in China
An empirical evaluations of the maturity of eight typical sports goods manufacturing industry clusters in China through constructing a maturity evaluation index system for sports goods manufacturing industry clusters showed that the maturity of typical sports goods manufacturing industry clusters in China was higher than eight except for the Jiangsu Jiangdu sports goods manufacturing industry cluster.The industrial cluster,as the main organizational form of sports goods manufacturing industry in China,reached a mature stage through years of development.Among the four primary evaluation indicators of cluster organization production maturity,cluster knowledge innovation maturity,cluster social network maturity,and cluster development environment maturity,the highest maturity of cluster development environment was above eight.And the evaluation level was high,indicating that the development environment of sports goods manufacturing industry clusters in China was generally good.The lowest maturity of knowledge innovation in clusters was below eight,and the evaluation level was between"average"and"high",indicating that the knowledge innovation of sports goods manufacturing industry clusters in China was generally poor and lagged behind the overall maturity of the clusters.Further analysis revealed that sports goods manufacturing industry clusters in China were transitioning from a mature consolidation period to a mature innovation period.Therefore,suggestions included to reasonably grasp the development duration and formulate hierarchical development goals;to clarify the development subject and play the role of the subject,to develop reasonable strategies and focus on integrated development,to pay attention to driving mechanism innovation and to design multiple implementation paths.
