Inner Alchemy Philosophy:Core Issues and Research Directions on Wudang Wushu Culture
Wudang Wushu is an important part of the Chinese Wushu,but its development has experienced difficult times.The revival of the elite traditional culture inspired the re-examination the current research on Wudang Wushu culture,placing higher demands on the in-depth study of ontology.This study reviewed the research achievements and positions of Wudang Wushu culture in the past 40 years,and showed that the researches focused on its origin from 1980 to 1992,on its culture from 1992 to 2008,and on its development from 2008 to the present.On the basis of this understanding,research has proposed the view of inner alchemy philosophy based on"Tao"and the operating mode of the small universe derived from"Tao.The inner alchemy philosophy was significant for Wudang Wushu.However,researches on it were far from enough.The elite Chinese culture reflected through the inner alchemy philosophy should be regarded as the core research topics and helped Wudang Wushu to be taken as in the right place.
