System Construction,Practical Obstacles,and Advancement Pathways of Digital Twin Sports Venues
Digital twin technology provides new ideas for the smart transformation and upgrading of sports venues.The study utilized literature review,field investigation,and expert interviews to explore the system construction,operational mechanism,practical obstacles,and advancement pathways of digital twin sports venues,based on an understanding of the concept of"digital twin".It was believed that digital twin sports venues possessed major characteristics such as data-driven operations,precise mapping,and interaction between the real and virtual worlds.The architecture of digital twin sports venues included the infrastructure layer,the data layer,the model layer,etc.Their value was primarily reflected in meeting user needs,reducing operational costs and risks,and fostering new business patterns.Furthermore,the operational mechanism of digital twin sports venues was elaborated from innovative thinking,functional reshaping,and system reconstruction.The study pointed out that the current construction of digital twin sports venues in China was in face with practical difficulties such as a lack of people-oriented concept,no breakthroughs in technological obstacles,and inadequate institutional supervision.The paper proposed the following advancement pathways:adhering to the people-oriented concept,promoting customized sports venue services,increasing financial investment,emphasizing the research and innovation of digital twin sports venue technology,strengthening institutional guarantees,formulating a standardized system,promoting multi-party collaboration,promoting sustainable construction of digital twin sports venues,strengthening interdisciplinary talent training,enhancinginternational exchange and cooperation.
