Digital sports event is the core product of the digital economy era.It is a new event formed by the integration of digital economy and sports events.With the innovative development of digital sports events,the exploration of its theoretical foundation and practice pattern is urgent.Through literature review,logical reasoning and case study,the paper defined the concept of digital sports event by drawing on the three-dimensional logic analysis paradigm,further elaborated on its connotation in terms of the characteristics of the digital sports events era,its practical value,and a comparative analysis of its elements with traditional sports events,and analyzed its practice pattern by taking the Hangzhou Asian Games E-Sports and the Shanghai Virtual Sports Open Tournament as typical cases.It was concluded that e-sports events and virtual sports events were typical digital sports events.At this stage,the development of China's digital sports events was confined by incomplete event operation elements,unsound event regulatory system,and weak guarantee of the event system.Countermeasures should concentrate on consolidating the foundation of event operation,building a systematic all-chain digital operation mode,improving the event regulatory system,constructing a scientific all-element digital regulatory system;increasing policy guarantee and constructing a sound full-cycle digital guarantee system,etc.
