From Textual Interpretation to Theoretical Interpretation:Sports Discourses of Marx and Engels
Marx and Engels'discourses on sports have profoundly influenced the development of the Chinese sports studies,and it is of great significance to further analyze its history and theory.This paper adopted literature review and logical analysis to clarify the textual content of Marx and Engels'discourses on sports and its coherence around the relevant classical texts.From the perspective of the intellectual history,it also clarified the connection between Marx and Engels'discourses on sports and the views on sports of the Utopian Socialists and Enlightenment thinkers.Based on relationship between the labor and the body,on the development of Marx and Engels'discourses on sports,it concluded that Marx and Engels'discourses on sports were formed in a specific era,a specific stage and a specific environment,serving for the proletarian revolution as its basic proposition.With its particularity,its universality in terms of method,position and value should not be ignored.
