Driving Path of High-quality Development of Sports Enterprises in Era of Digital Economy:Qualitative Comparative Analysis Based on TOE Framework
Exploring the driving path of high-quality development of sports enterprises in the era of digital economy holds significant strategic importance for the transformation and upgrading of the sports industry,as well as for achieving new economic growth.A total of 120 sports enterprises were selected as research samples.Utilizing the TOE theoretical framework,this paper employed configurational thinking and QCA method to deconstruct the multiple concurrent factors and complex causal mechanisms that influenced the high-quality development of sports enterprises from three dimensions:technological innovation,organizational operation,and market environment.It was discovered that profitability served as a necessary condition for the high-quality development of sports enterprises,which along with financing constraints and policy subsidies constituted the core conditions for such development.Three collaborative driving paths were identified.First was the technology-driven path for sports enterprises reinvested R&D funds through sales of patented products to stimulate a new round of R&-D activities,thereby establishing a virtuous cycle of enterprise innovation.Next was the organization-driven path for developing sports enterprises enhanced operational efficiency through effective organizational practices and leveraged digital marketing strategies to expand corporate profits by implementing digital transformation strategies.The last one was the technology-environment driven path concerning small and medium-sized micro sports enterprises relying on government subsidies and tax policies to obtain external incentives for patent research and development so as to enhance independent innovation capabilities and core competitiveness to achieve high-quality development.
