The proposal of new quality productive forces has formed a wide-ranging impact on various aspects of building a socialist modernized sporting nation.College sports are not only empowered by the new quality productive forces,but also promote the development of sports new quality productive forces.This research holds that the new quality productive forces represented by digital and intelligent technologies not only provide new quality means of production,but also put forward requirements for the university staff to transform into new producers that can utilize new quality means of production to implement new quality production objects,which promote the practical pattern of college sports.New producers include P.E.teachers with digital intelligence literacy,coaches who master digital intelligence tools,managers with awareness of big data applications,and researchers who promote the development of new quality productive forces.New quality means of production include digital intelligence technologies to facilitate participation in sports,digitization resources of college sports which can be equally accessed,and digitization platforms to optimize college sports management.New quality production objects include physical education products empowered by digital intelligence and data assets of college sports.Based on challenges,practical paths for empowering college sports with new quality productive forces so as to enhance the digital literacy of teachers,building policy environments and infrastructures for cultivating digital intelligence sports education,to clarify the data requirements of college sports and to establish a standardized and legal accumulation of data resources,to establish college sports innovation fields and to lead the achievement transformation of sports technology innovation.
