The concept of emerging productive forces,as proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping,is a theoretical summary and strategic deployment for China's socio-economic development in the new era, which is building up and advancing the Marxist theories of productivity. In this context, how university P.E.can seize the opportunities presented by these emerging productive forces to drive high-quality development has become a focal point in academic research. However, studies on the relationship between emerging productive forces and university P.E.remain insufficient. To address this gap, this paper explores the innovative practices of Peking University in its intelligent transformation of P.E.Through an analysis of Peking University's practices in six key areas of digital-intelligent sports, this paper reveals how emerging productive forces drive the development of university P.E.across different ecological system levels, including intelligent monitoring of sports lessons, immersive learning environments, visualization of movement skills, intelligent monitoring of physical exercise, sports and health data platforms, and smart management of sports facilities. The paper proposes strategies to address real-world challenges and provides theoretical guidance and practical insights for developing a new model of university P.E.in the digital age.
