Identity Construction and Logic of Martial Art Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritors
Based on identity construction and logic of the martial arts intangible cultural heritage inheritors,this paper studied the identity construction of the inheritors within different situations through field investigation and literature review.It could be seen that the inheritors'situation of life,economy,organization was recognizable,and they were entitled"martial artist","coach","representative inheritor"and"martial arts association member".In various contexts,they needed to engage in different forms of identity construction centered around culture,structure,and actions.In the context of life,there was a firm reliance on physical capital and restrained by the moral norms of"righteousness"culture.In the context of economy,it reflected a value orientation of economic interests,and was influenced by formal system and market rules.Therefore,so it was necessary to give full play to the initiative of to obtain new physical capital,symbol capital,and cultural capital.In the context of organization,a diverse value orientation was manifested,encompassing both martial arts sentiments and economic interests.Moreover,when constrained by structural rules and supported by structural resource,structural resources showed enabling characteristics.The"fitting"of the inheritors was the result of the interaction of culture,structure and action under the identity construction.This interaction was primarily reflected in the initiative of the action subject,the support of structural resources and rules,the adherence to cultural traditions,and the acquisition of new forms of personal capital and social capital.
