Numerical Simulation of the Flow Field in the Cargo Hold of a Professional Antarctic Krill Ship and the Optimal Design for Arrangement and Attitude of Wind Deflector
In order to design the reasonable cold air flow field in the cargo hold of the krill ship,the Fluent software was used to simulate the flow and temperature fields of the cargo hold in a new professional Antarctic krill ship when it is empty.The attitude and design parameters of the baffle in the low-speed areas below the ventilated floor were optimized based on the calcula-tion results,and the wind deflectors were added at the dead corners of air supply.The velocity,pressure and temperature fields of each key profile in the optimized cargo hold in the empty state were simulated.The simulation data of the temperature field in the optimized cargo hold was in good agreement with the experimental data.The flow field of the cargo hold in the full state was numerically analyzed,and the cooling process of the cargo under the most unfavorable working conditions was simulated.It was found that the cargo can achieve-35℃,showing that the optimization scheme is helpful to address the rationalization of the flow field distribution in the cargo hold of professional Antarctic krill ships.
