Performance Analysis of YG20,Q355 and TU1 Copper Brazed Joint for Wear Plate of Concrete Agitator Ship
The welding process and joint performance of wear-resistant plate of concrete agitator ship were studied. The vac-uum brazing was carried out by using hard alloy YG20 and Q355 low-alloy steel as base material and TU1 oxygen-free copper as filler metal. The performance of the welded joint was tested under different brazing gaps, and the fracture morphology of tensile sample and impact sample was scanned by SEM.It was shown that, when YG20 and Q355 are brazed in TU1 oxygen-free cop-per,a good joint can be obtained when the joint gap is less than 0.5 mm;when the brazing gap is 0.4 mm,the tensile strength of the joint is 439.8 MPa,which is 69.8%of the base metal;when the brazing gap is larger than 0.5 mm,the performance de-creases sharply;when the gap of brazing gap is below 0.2 mm,the fracture of welding joint is brittle fracture, and when the bra-zing gap is above 0.2 mm,the plastic fracture phenomenon shows certain plasticity with the increase of the gap value.Consider-ing the brazing operability and joint performance, the recommended range of weld gap is 0.2 mm~0.5 mm.
