Considering the influence of the interim guidelines of the second generation of intact stability criteria issued by the Maritime Safety Committee of the International Maritime Organization(IMO),taking a type of bulk carrier as an example,the vulnerability stability criteria of the second generation of intact stability assessment of bulk carriers was analyzed.The stability calculation method and evaluation process in NAPA was introduced.The numerical results was analyzed comparatively,and the reasons for loading conditions that cannot meet the stability criteria were investigated.
