Analysis of Preliminary Design of Cargo Tanks of the 12 000 m3 LNG Bunkering Vessel
Focusing on the 12 000 m3 LNG bunkering vessel planned to be built by China National Offshore Oil Corporation(CNOOC),based on the technical characteristics of LNG bunkering vessels and the situation of existing and planned internation-al LNG fuel-powered seagoing vessels,the determination of tank capacity,type selection,material selection and determination of design vapour pressure for liquid cargo tanks were analyzed,so as to form a basic parameter plan for the liquid cargo hold of the 12 000 m3 LNG bunkering vessel.At the same time,the factors to be considered in the preliminary selection and optimization of the size of the cargo tank were studied,which can provide a technical basis for further design of the cargo tank of the LNG bunke-ring vessel.
