Creep-Fatigue Characteristics Analysis of Organic Glass Window of Manned Submersible
The creep properties of window glass materials for manned submersibles were revealed by short-term creep tests on rod-shaped organic glass samples.The creep fracture test of plexiglass was carried out to obtain the creep fracture life of plexi-glass materials.The conclusion that the creep fracture time and the holding stress level are linearly correlated and the correspond-ing linear fitting equation were given.Then the tensile fatigue test was carried out to obtain the tensile fatigue life under different peak stresses.The stress level of the organic glass window of the 300 m sightseeing submersible under different diving depths was analyzed,and the fatigue life estimation of the organic glass window of the 300 m manned submersible was realized by combining the time life fraction method based on the linear cumulative damage theory.
