Research on Dynamic Response of Crude Oil External Hose at Bow Loading
Aiming at the problem of safe operation of the floating export hoses used for bow loading of crude oil,the influ-ence factors of hose dynamic response were analyzed.Based on the lumped mass method,a comprehensive coupled dynamic anal-ysis model was established for the floating export hoses connecting the shuttle tanker and the FPSO unit.By analyzing influence factors of hose loadings,the configuration of minimum stress on the hose was determined,as well as the environmental conditions for safe operations of hose.The calculation results indicate that under operational conditions,the optimal length for the floating hose string is 170.6 m,the distance between the FPSO and the shuttle tanker is 80 m,resulting in minimal effective tension on the hose;the extreme operational conditions for the hoses are a current speed of 1.1 m/s and wave heights of up to 7 m.The pro-posed export hose scheme can provide reference for the design of floating export hoses for bow loading.
