Real-time Monitoring Method for Key Parameters of Flash Gas Compressor Units on Semi-submersible Oil and Gas Production Platforms
To address the issues of difficulty in measuring key parameters of flash gas compressor units on semi-submersible oil and gas production platforms,a real-time monitoring method for key parameters based on virtual metering was proposed.An in-depth analysis of the process principles of the flash gas compressor units was conducted,and a set of mechanistic equations for three key parameters,including compressor exhaust volume,scrubber liquid discharge volume,and post-cooler heat exchange ef-ficiency index,were established.Corresponding virtual metering models were further developed by combining actual industrial re-quirements,and on this basis an online monitoring system for key parameters based on virtual metering was designed.Application test results on actual industrial data demonstrated that the developed mechanism models can effectively describe the trends of com-pressor exhaust volume,scrubber liquid discharge volume,and post-cooler heat exchange efficiency index,and solve the virtual metering problem of key parameters.
