The Attribute Connotation and Cognitive Value of the Characteristics of Vocational College Education—Taking Nanjing Polytechnic University as an object
Pursuing distinct characteristics of education is the value orientation and inevitable trend for high-quality development of vocational higher education institutions in the new era.The concept of institutional characteristics is one that is subject to individual interpretation in higher education,and it is also a theoretical issue that is often misinterpreted,frequently deviates in practice,and requires further in-depth exploration.By taking the Nanjing Institute of Industrial Technology as an observation object,this paper analyzes the internal logic and external characteristics of the formation of its institutional characteristics,clarifying the inherent properties,shared properties,and their internal relationships.The research results indicate that correctly recognizing the inherent and shared properties of institutional characteristics and their relationships is the prerequisite and foundation for vocational higher education institutions to grasp the laws of characteristic development,clarify their characteristic positioning,and scientifically evaluate institutional characteristics.
