Design and Implementation of Multi-layer Constellation Network Simulation Teaching and Research System
With the gradual clarity of 6G architecture and the clear demand for the integration of space and terrestrial, the development of non-geostationary orbit satellite constellation has entered a stage of unprecedented prosperity. Some typical system, such as the United States'STARLINK,Kuiper, the British OneWeb,Chinese Satellite Internet Constellation stay at a critical stage of construction and de-ployment.Among them, the design of the multi-layer constellation network is an important research object to solve the global seamless coverage and on-demand access. However, due to the high cost of satellite communication system construction, the complexity of the system and the government control of the real system,it is hard to directly apply the real satellite communication system to the experimental teaching of colleges and universities. At present, the classroom experiments and comprehensive experiments related to satellite communication are mainly carried out by visiting the computer room and grouping experiments in experimental boxes, which lack intuitive system understanding and low participation.Aiming at the above requirements,we design a simulation system based on"orbit modeling+system analysis+dynamic display",and realize the highly dynamic analysis process of non-geostationary orbit satellite constellation by using the idea of snapshot simulation. The experimental results show that the system can well complete the coverage analysis of large-scale multi-layer constellation network, the co-channel interference analysis and other functions, which can support the practical needs of satellite communication, wireless communication, communication comprehensive experiment and other courses.
