In recent years, the 5G network revolution has promoted the wide application of wireless technology, followed by the prosperity of location-based services. However,a complex problem called privacy invasion still restricts the development of such services. In the context of location-based services, private location data leakage has attracted great attention in academia because of its importance, which has led to a lot of research work aimed at dealing with related challenges. However, reviewing the relevant research results,it is found that no relevant research has qualitatively and quantitatively compared and analyzed the privacy protection technology to deal with various attacks, and the potential elements that can be deployed to deal with new challenges. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to study the privacy protection technology in location-based services.Firstly, the architecture of location-based service system and several common privacy protection architectures are introduced, and the existing technologies are classified and reviewed from the inside out.Secondly, through a retrospective analysis of several typical studies in each category,we summarize their effectiveness research on privacy attacks and the latest progress. Finally,a unified evaluation standard is formulated and applied for privacy protection technology.
