In order to meet the increasing demand for welding technology in industrial production,a systematic study was conducted on the principle and application of laser arc composite welding technology. The influence of factors such as laser power density, welding speed, and arc shape on welding quality and efficiency was studied through experimental comparative analysis and process parameter optimization. The results show that laser arc composite welding technology has significant advantages over traditional welding methods in fast welding of thick plates, ensuring weld quality and adaptability. The welding speed can be increased to 3-5 times, and the weld morphology is flat and beautiful, with high joint strength. However, this technology still faces issues such as high equipment cost, difficult operation, and insufficient welding stability.
