In the home appliance industry, the corrosion resistance of metal components in gas water heaters is crucial for the product's durability and safety. This study explores methods to enhance the corrosion resistance of these components, utilizing three different surface treatment experiments:surface coating, chemical passivation, and application of eco-friendly anti-corrosion coatings.By testing in a laboratory-simulated corrosive environment and comparing the corrosion resistance of each treatment, the results show that the use of eco-friendly anti-corrosion coatings is the most effective in improving corrosion resistance, providing reliable technical support for enhancing the corrosion resistance of metal components in gas water heaters.
