Realistic Inspiration and Aesthetic Competition:the Creation Practice of I Am What I Am from the Perspective of Community Aesthetics
I Am What I Am is a film released in 2021,which has aroused widespread discussion among the audience in terms of content narrative,animation production and char-acter modeling.Under the theoretical framework of com-munity aesthetics,this paper analyzes the creation dynam-ics of I Am What I Am with the debate between beauty and ugliness under the internal narrative,realistic reference,cultural landscape and aesthetic evolution as the starting point,so as to explore how Chinese animation films can further shape audience's emotional,cultural and spiritual community consciousness,express emotional power and enhance cultural appeal.
