"捏脸"系统和女性玩家自我身份认同研究

文章聚焦游戏行业,以游戏中的"捏脸"系统和女性玩家分别为客体研究对象和主体研究对象,并以大型多人在线游戏身份认同模型为研究框架,研究方法为参与式观察法和深度访谈法,探究"捏脸"系统作为新兴的游戏媒介中的重要一环为何受到女性游戏玩家的青睐以及如何满足女性玩家的需求.研究发现,女性玩家在使用"捏脸"系统时构建了相似性身份认同和希望性身份认同两种认同方式,并随着对游戏中"捏脸"后的虚拟形象的认同感逐渐加强,产生共情;部分玩家会对现实中的自我感到不满,形成自我身份认同的矛盾性.
Research on"Face Pinching"System and Self-identity of Female Players
This paper focuses on the game industry,taking the"Face Pinching"system in games and female players as the object and subject research object respectively,and taking the identity recognition model of large-scale multiplayer online game as the research framework.The research meth-ods are participatory observation and in-depth interview.It explores why the"Face Pinching"system as an important part of the emerging game media is favored by female game players and how to meet their needs.Research has found that female players construct two identification methods when using"Face Pinching"system:similarity identity and hope identity,and as their sense of identification with the virtual image after"pinching face"in the game gradually strengthens,empathy arises;some players may feel dissatis-fied with themselves in reality,leading to a contradiction in their self-identity.
