Guangzhou jade carving first appeared in Shixia culture in the late Neolithic Age.After more than 6000 years of development,it has absorbed many artistic strengths and formed artistic characteristics of inclusiveness,lightness,and elegance.It is a unique artistic treasure of the Chinese nation.After years of baptism,jade carving skill is now developed to a considerable height,and the space for further development is becoming increasingly narrow,falling into a bottleneck period;and there is also an increasingly serious problem of homogenization in jade carving creation.In the face of this situation,taking the design and production of revived lacquer jade as an example,exploring the diversified expression forms of jade carving skills,delving into the cultural connotation of traditional crafts,so as to guide the sustainable,healthy and diversified development of jade carving culture.
