Virtual Reality(VR)technology is a kind of technology that creates a virtual environment and interact with it,which has a broad application prospect.The application of VR technology in film and television production is becoming more and more extensive,bringing new technological breakthroughs to film and television production,allowing producers to better express their ideas,and also bringing unprecedented immersive experience to the audience.This paper analyzes the role of VR technology in film and television production and its influence on film and television production industry,discusses the specific application of VR technology in film and television production and the challenges and difficulties faced by VR technology in film and television production industry.
