Literary symbol expresses deep meaning through language and image,while toy design presents creativi-ty in material form.The ingenious integration of literary symbolic elements into toy design can make toy go beyond simple entertainment functions and become a medium of integrating teaching in edutainment,further inspiring children's imagination and creativity.This paper sys-tematically expounds the connotation and characteristics of literary symbol,as well as the concept and expression techniques of toy design,points out the inherent compat-ibility of the two,and puts forward specific transboundary application strategies.
