Based on the theory of child-friendliness,this paper puts forward that the construction of China's child-friendly space system must take children as the start-ing point.On the basis of understanding children's real de-mands,it is necessary for stakeholders at the top,block and community levels to make efforts in top-down standards and policy formulation,bottom-up exploration and practical in-novation.Taking Wuhan Gemdale·Sino-French SE Inter-national Center Child-friendly Community as an example,it expounds how to effectively construct China's child-friendly space system.
