Text is a visual carrier element,and it together with picture and color is known as three elements of mod-ern graphic design.Font design is an important means of expression in modern graphic design content such as logo design,poster design,packaging design,and book bind-ing design.It shoulders the responsibility of improving the aesthetics of modern graphic design.Taking the font design in modern graphic design as the research object,this paper summarizes the origin of text and font design,and discusses the principles and specific design strategies of font design in modern graphic design,aiming to enhance the value of font design,realize the large-scale and deep-level development of font design,and then enhance the visual communication effect of graphic design.
