Visual communication design is a design method that conveys information and emotion through visual ele-ments.The application of emotional concept in visual com-munication design can enhance the appeal of design,arouse the emotional resonance of the audience,and improve the audience's acceptance of design.This paper discusses the specific application of emotional concept in visual communi-cation design from the aspects of text,graphics,color,material and texture,and explores the application method of emotional concept in visual communication design,in order to further expand the innovation ideas of design and improve the effec-tiveness of design and the satisfaction of the audience.
