With the renewal of educational concepts and the development of science and technology,primary Chinese education is looking for teaching methods that are compat-ible with cognitive characteristics of children in the new era.As an educational tool integrating knowledge and en-tertainment,educational toy provides new possibilities for primary Chinese education.This paper first expounds the theoretical basis of the integration design of primary Chi-nese and educational toys,and then discusses the path of the integration design of primary Chinese and educational toys from multiple dimensions such as project definition and demand analysis,design concept construction,creative conception and scheme design,prototype production and preliminary test,feedback collection and iterative design,final scheme determination and production.Finally,taking Chinese character building block as an example,the case study is carried out in order to provide new ideas and meth-ods for the design of primary Chinese educational toys.
