With the development of China's social public welfare undertakings,more and more special groups have received attention and help.Among them,as one of the special groups,visually-impaired children's reading needs need to be solved urgently.In recent years,the emergence of touch picture books for visually-impaired children has provided an effective way to solve this problem,and plays an increasingly important role in this process.Through this new way of reading,it can not only help visually-impaired children acquire knowledge,but also help them build self-confidence and realize self value.This paper studies the promotion of touch picture books for visually-impaired children in public libraries,in order to help the all-round development of children in special groups.
