Research on the Design of Natural Interactive Urban Public Space for Young Children from the Perspective of Psychology
Children's quality level is a key indicator to measure the progress of social civilization. With the grad-ual implementation of the national"second-child policy"and"three-child policy",the number of children is increas-ing,and their demand for urban public space activities is also expanding. However, the current design of urban pub-lic space mainly focuses on meeting the activity and eco-nomic needs of adults, ignoring the development needs of physical and mental health of young children. The purpose of this paper is to explore the psychological and behavioral characteristics of young children from the perspective of child psychology, analyze the suitability of existing urban public space for young children, reveal spatial problems that are not suitable for the physical and mental develop-ment of young children, and put forward design principles and key points of the natural interactive urban public space for young children. It provides new ideas and theoretical support for the construction of natural interactive urban public space for young children, and enriches the theoret-ical framework and practical perspective of urban public space design.
