Research on the Creation of Chinese Children's Picture Book from the Perspective of Parent Culture
In the context of globalization,although the mul-ticulturalism in children's picture books contributes to the growth of Chinese children,children can not independent-ly make the right distinction and choice of cultural values because of their limited cognitive ability,which will cause children to have identity problems.Although children have strong plasticity,their ability to choose is weak.The parent cultural factors carried by picture books will affect chil-dren's cognition and understanding.Therefore,as creators of children's picture books,they should pay attention to parent culture,so as to lay a foundation for shaping chil-dren's early cultural background and identity.This paper analyzes the development status of Chinese children's pic-ture books,studies how China,the United States and Japan explore and display the inheritance and transformation of subcultures to the parent culture through children's picture books,and puts forward the creation strategies of Chinese children's picture books from the perspective of parent cul-ture,hoping to provide a new thinking dimension and the-oretical basis for the creation and development of Chinese children's picture books.
