With the continuous development and trans-formation of social macro economy,the stage art design industry has entered a new period.In terms of stage art design,in order to meet the needs of the present reality,a series of innovations should be carried out.Stage art design is a multi-sensory art form,which is based on a variety of expression forms and presented in various ways.It is the key link of stage performance,so it is necessary to be innovated.This paper expounds the significance of the innovative development of stage art design,including promoting the diversified development of performing art,enhancing the aesthetic experience of the audience,and expanding the performance space of stage art design.it summarizes the characteristics and existing problems of the innovative development of current stage art design,and puts forward the approaches to realize the innovative de-velopment of stage art design,in order to provide ideas for stage art design personnel.
