Ancient Chinese furniture is not only the daily necessity,but also the embodiment of etiquette system.As an important part of traditional culture,it contains rich etiquette culture.In the long historical development,the shape,arrangement and use method of furniture have been deeply influenced by the etiquette system.Studying the et-iquette system in ancient Chinese furniture not only helps people understand the lifestyle and aesthetic concepts of the ancients,but also enlightens modern design and life.This paper discusses in detail the etiquette system in an-cient Chinese furniture.
