As a popular chess game in ancient times,Back-gammon has long faded out of the stage of history.Tang Tri-Color Glazed Ceramic female pottery figurine is the most representative sculpture art in Tang Tri-Color Glazed Ceramic art,which has unique artistic charm.This paper introduces the traditional playing method of Backgammon,and carries out a new design practice of Backgammon board game inspired by the Tang Tri-Color Glazed Ceram-ic female pottery figurine.It aims to explore how to realize the protection and inheritance of traditional culture through modern design,and vividly convey the aesthetics of Tang Dynasty to people,as well as awaken people's interest and love for traditional games.
