Research on the Application of Traditional Cultural Symbol in Contemporary Animation Design
With the rapid development of the animation industry and influenced by western factors,domestic an-imation lacks its own characteristics in content and crea-tion methods,which is difficult to show the essence of the national culture,and is relatively weak in connotation and artistic conception.Therefore,in contemporary animation works,traditional cultural symbols should be integrated to improve the creativity of animation works,so as to fully display China's excellent traditional culture and promote the inheritance and development of culture.This paper analyzes the importance of the application of traditional cultural symbols in contemporary animation design,in-cluding improving the uniqueness and depth of animation works and better spreading traditional Chinese culture.At the same time,it focuses on the methods of applying tradi-tional cultural symbols to contemporary animation design,aiming to provide design reference for contemporary ani-mation designers and promote the innovative expression of traditional Chinese culture in the contemporary era.
