The new media environment refers to the media form that provides users with information and entertain-ment services through Internet,wireless communication network and other channels and with the help of comput-ers,smart phones,digital TV and other terminals by using network technology,mobile technology,digital technology,compared with traditional media such as newspapers,radio and television.In the new media environment,animation art design has broad development prospects.This paper summarizes the characteristics of new media,analyzes the opportunities brought by the new media environment for animation art design,and further puts forward the specific development path of animation art design under the new media environment,hoping to promote the steady and sus-tainable development of animation art design industry.
