Research on Lightweight of Automotive Design and Manufacturing
With the development of the automotive industry,the energy crisis and environmental problems have become increasingly prominent,prompting the industry to find solutions to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions.This paper deeply analyzes the necessity and importance of lightweight in automotive design and manufacturing,and summarizes the application of various lightweight materi-als,such as high-strength steel,aluminum alloy,composite materials,in body structure,engine,suspension system and other components.It focuses on the lightweight measures of automotive design and manufacturing,aiming to show the important role of lightweight in promoting the sustain-able development of automotive industry.
