With the continuous development of digital me-dia technology and art,games have become an important carrier of cultural communication,and the integration de-sign of Chinese excellent traditional culture and games has become a popular trend nowadays.Chinese myth is an im-portant part of Chinese excellent traditional culture.Based on the development status of Chinese myth in contempo-rary times and the integration trend of electronic games and culture,this paper discusses the specific application of Chinese myth in contemporary electronic game design from three aspects:game character design,game skin de-sign and game background design.
