Natural materials are high-quality resources in self-made toys in kindergartens.Combining natural ma-terials with self-made toys in kindergartens can promote children's cognition and creativity development.This paper emphasizes that the application of natural materials in the process of making toys by oneself needs to ensure the safety,education and sustainability of the materials.The application strategies of natural materials in self-made toys in kindergartens are put forward,including modular design,interactivity design and introduction of scientific experimental elements,so as to enhance the education and entertainment value of toys.Finally,through case analysis,the role of natural materials in stimulating children's inter-est in exploring ecology and science is shown,aiming to provide new ideas for self-made toys in kindergartens.
