Recent progress in mesoporous thin film electrodes of dye sensitized solar cells
Principle, structure, and preparation methods of TiO2 porous thin film electrode were introduced. Methods of reducing the charge recombination rate, improving electrode preformance, and of increasing photoelectric conversion efficiency were further reviewed, mainly involving surface modification, such as compounding,doping and coating etc.. Features ,such as high conversion efficiency and convenience for application of dye-sensitized solar cells and laminated solar cells based on orderly TiO2 porous thin film electrode and flexible TiO2 porous thin film electrode were pointed out, and on this basis,further research direction was also prospected.
