Study on Cr3+ detection based silver nanoparticles modified with 4-mercaptobenzoic acid and polyethyleneimine
Heavy metal ions in water caused serious damage to the ecological environment and human health. Therefore,it is great significant to detect heavy metal ions in water ecological environment.Aiming at improving the sensitivity for heavy metal detection in aqueous solution, functional silver nanoparticles modified by 4-mercaptobenzoic acid and polyethylenei-mine were synthesized to construct the detection system for chromium ions. The effects of different concentrations of modifi-ers and the pH of the detection system on the detection system were investigated. The results showed that the detecting plat-form had great results when the concentration of 4-mercaptobenzoic acid and polyethyleneimine were 1×10-6 mol/L and 2×10-8 g/mL,respectively,and the pH value was 9.73.Under the optimum conditions, the detection limit of Cr3+ could reach as low as 8×10-7 mol/L with the curve equation(R2=0.997)from 1×10-5 mol/L to 8×10-7 mol/L.In addition, the detection system could effectively resist the interferents of Al3+,Ni2+,K+,Sr2+,Co2+,Cu2+,Fe3+,Zn2+.At Cr3+ concentration of 8×10-7~1×10-5 mol/L,it was followed the curve equation y=0.05906+0.50402/[1+10(2.59349×10-6-x)×569909.68](R2=0.997).It had great application value in detecting the concentration of Cr3+ in sewage.
