Study on modification of inorganic activators and their active excitation on sulfur fixing ash
The adverse effects of traditional sulphur-containing activators on the environment can be eliminated by environ-ment-friendly sulphur-free inorganic activators, but the insufficient improvement of their anti-pressure activity index in the treatment of sulphur-fixing ash restricts their industrial application. In order to enhance the excitation effect of sulfur-free in-organic activator on sulfur fixing ash admixture,a TEA-CaCO3-CaSiO3/Ca(OH)2 organic-inorganic compound activator was successfully designed by introducing organic alcohol amine(TEA)to modify the inorganic salt system[CaCO3,CaSiO3,Ca(OH)2].The effects of inorganic salt type, ash content, and proportion of organic alcohol amine on the properties of the compound activator were studied. The influence of the interaction between different materials on the fluidity ratio and com-pressive activity index of cement mortar was explored, and the compressive activity index of cement mortar was further im-proved,the fluidity ratio was increased, and the stability of the inorganic salt system was improved. When the ratio of ash to slag was 5∶5,the proportion of TEA was 0.04%,and the amount of calcium carbonate and calcium hydroxide was 1.2% and 0.018%,respectively,the resulting composite activator kept the fluidity ratio of mortar at 97%,and the compressive activity reached 105% at 28 days, which would further promote the large-scale production of environmentally friendly activators and promote the green application of sulfur fixation ash.
