High strength concrete products were prepared with mechanically activated incineration slag as modified addi-tive.The effect of activation time on the structure of waste slag was studied, and the hydration mechanism of activated waste slag modified concrete products was explored.Besides, the chloride ion diffusion coefficient and sulfate corrosion resistance of the samples were evaluated. The results showed that prolonging the activation time could stimulate the volcanic ash activ-ity by refining the particle size of the waste slag and destroying the crystal structure of the mineral. In the alkaline hydration environment, calcium silicate hydrate and calcium aluminate hydrate was generated between the reaction of the dissolved active aluminum silicate and calcium hydroxide, thus refining the pore size and improving SO42-and Cl-corrosion resistance. The 28 d compressive strength of concrete products modified with 4 h activation incineration slag was greater than 80 MPa,meeting the requirements of grade C50~C80 in the CECS 104-1999"technical specification for high strength concrete structures".Meanwhile, the chloride ion diffusion coefficient reached 4.57×10-12 m2/s,and sulfate resistance of concrete met the critical value in the GB/T 50476-2019"durability design standards for concrete structures".Consequently, the research results provided new ideas for the efficient utilization of waste incineration residue.
