Research on Distribution of Fresh Agricultural Products under Hub-and-spoke Network Based on Complementary Warehouses
Because of high flexibility and rapid response ability,hub-and-spoke networks have been widely used in the modern express industry, arid their various hub nodes are also the focus of reducing costs related to logistics supply chain links. At present, fresh agricultural products are highly dependent on cold chain transportation due to their perishability and freshness, and each distribution inevitably leads to damage to some of the products, making them unusable for sale and consumption. This article focuses on the combination of hub-and-spoke networks and the distribution of fresh agricultural products, and the establishment of complementary warehouses between midway nodes. The fish school algorithm is used to determine the optimal location of each complementary warehouse,so as to minimize cargo damage rates and reduce logistics costs, with a view to providing new solutions for the distribution of fresh agricultural products.
