Research on the Impact of Logistics Industry on Regional Economic Growth
Since entering the 21st century,China's social and economic development has been sustained and stable,and the development level of the logistics industry has had a significant impact on regional economic development.This article combines relevant data on the logistics industry and economic development in Gansu Province to establish a Logistic function model with freight volume,freight turnover,highway mileage,and railway mileage as independent variables and the total value of regional economic production as dependent variable in which the marginal,elastic,and inflection point analyses are conducted.The study shows that for every 10000 tons increase in freight volume in Gansu Province,the GDP will correspondingly increase by 10.4 million yuan;when the freight volume in Gansu Province increases by 1％,the GDP will increase by 0.88％;in 2020,the freight volume in Gansu Province has exceeded the inflection point,and the rate of economic growth will gradually decrease with the increase of freight volume.Finally,suggestions for the development of logistics industry in Gansu Province are proposed to better promote the regional economic development.
