Research on Highway Freight Efficiency and Its Influencing Factors in the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration
Using the DEA model to collect five-year indicator data of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, the highway freight efficiency of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration was calculated and analyzed, and the Tobit regression model was chosen to study the influencing factors of highway freight efficiency. It has been found that the overall efficiency of highway freight in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration is relatively high, but there is still a phenomenon of resource waste, with significant room for improvement;the regional GDP,the proportion of total output value of secondary industry in GDP,the proportion of government fiscal expenditure in GDP,and the proportion of highway freight volume in total freight volume all have different directions and degrees of impact on the efficiency of highway freight. Finally, based on empirical results, suggestions are proposed to improve the efficiency of highway freight.
